Carolina Canine Consulting was founded by two passionate dog-training experts, Patrick Salerno and Rebekah Croft. With 40 years of combined training experience, they craft a perfect training program where science and art meet, ensuring proven results-driven training for you and your dog.
Patrick is a 2010 graduate of The Citadel with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and Spanish. After graduating The Citadel, Patrick attended Vohne Liche Kennel’s professional K9 handler course. Upon graduation, Patrick worked for the US government with an explosives detection K9 for several years. Patrick has apprenticed and attended seminars under several talented trainers of both pet and working dogs over the years. In his spare time, he competes in multiple sports with his personal dogs, and has titled dogs in PSA, Mondioring, and NADF. His toolbox is filled with 18+ years of diverse, hands-on, continuing education experiences. In addition to training dogs, Patrick also excels in coaching their handlers, and has a very adaptive, effective teaching style for students young and old alike.
Rebekah is a graduate of Lander University with a bachelor’s degree is Psychology. She has been a small business owner since 2007, when she started her pet care business, Better Than Boarding, LLC. Rebekah has completed several dog training internships, and also graduated PetSmart’s Dog Trainer Certification course in 2008. She has fostered/rehabilitated over 70 rescue dogs, volunteered at The Humane Society, worked at the county shelter, and is a long-time multi-dog owner. Rebekah actively competes in sports with her current dogs, and has titled dogs in agility, rally, PSA and French Ring.
